Thieves Make Off With Wallet, Ladders

Doylestown Borough Police reported two instances of theft recently.

 

Doylestown Borough Police are on the lookout for those responsible for two instances of theft in the past week.

In the first incident, police said a resident of Meadow Lane reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed coins and his wallet. The wallet contained identification and several gift cards.

The theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8 and 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9.

In the second incident two ladders were stolen from the parking lot of Oak Terrace Apartments sometime between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9.

Police said one of the ladders is a red 24 foot fiberglass model. The other is a yellow 20 foot fiberglass ladder. Both have “Mr. Painter” written on them.

According to the police, the ladders are valued at approximately $800.
