Doylestown Borough Police reported several incidents recently.

Criminal Mischief

A representative from Bucks County Dry Goods reported graffiti on the exterior wall of the building on Friday, September 14 at approximately 11:50 a.m.

Liquor Laws

Charges are pending against an 18-year-old man of Point Pleasant Pike, Doylestown, after officers observed a bottle of rum in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Friday, September 14 at approximately 7:50 p.m.

His vehicle was stopped for spinning its tires at the intersection of State and Main Streets.

Assault

Officers are investigating the report of an assault that occurred at Linden Elementary School on Friday, September 14 at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The victim, an 11-year old male student, reported that he was placed in a headlock, thrown to the ground, and struck in the stomach by several other students. 

Driving Under the Influence

A 38-year-old woman of Westbury Court, Doylestown, was arrested on Friday, September 14 at approximately 10:34 p.m. after she was involved in a minor traffic accident on W. State Street in the area of Dommel Way. 

During the accident investigation, she was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

She was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Disorderly Conduct

A 23-year-old man of Saddle Drive, Furlong, and a 23-year-old man of Wilkshire Road, Doylestown, were cited on Saturday, September 15 at approximately 3 a.m. after they were allegedly observed fighting in the courtyard of the Bucks County Courthouse.

Ordinance Violation

A 30-year-old man of Meadow Lane, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, September 15 at approximately 4:45 p.m. after he was allegedly observed drinking from a bottle of beer wrapped in a paper bag while walking in the area of Main and Court Streets.

Public Drunkenness

A 21-year-old man of Curry Lane, Horsham, was cited on Saturday, September 15 at approximately 6:50 p.m, after he allegedly created a disturbance at the Wawa. 

Public Drunkenness

Charges are pending against a 33-year-old man of Jackson Street, Lansdale, after he was allegedly observed sleeping on the train platform on Sunday, September 16 at approximately 11:23 a.m.

Brennan was found to possess a pipe with suspected marijuana residue and could face charges for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Assault

A 25-year-old man of Swamp Road, Doylestown, was arrested on Monday, September 17 at approximately 1:58 p.m. after he allegedly struck an acquaintance with a broomstick during a domestic dispute at his residence. 

Theft

A black 21-speed Trek mountain bike was stolen from the rear of the Freight House on Tuesday, September 18 during the evening hours. 

The bicycle is valued at approximately $100.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked on the 400 block of Maple Avenue was keyed sometime between 8 p.m. on Friday September 7 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 8.
