Struck Crossing Guard Released From Hospital

Mr. Ken is okay after being hit by a car Monday afternoon.

The crossing guard who was hit by a car Monday in Doylestown Borough sustained minor injuries and has been released from the hospital, officials said.

Crossing guard Ken Patrican, known to students as Mr. Ken, was struck by a car Monday at West and W. State streets.

He has been released from Abington Hospital after being treated for minor injuries, Doylestown Borough Police Chief James Donnelly said.

According to Donnelly, Patrican was struck by a car that was making a left turn from West Street to eastbound W. State Street.

He was taken to Abington Hospital by Central Bucks Ambulance.
