According to video surveillance and police reports, a man allegedly applied wax to a concrete wall at the Mercer Museum then skateboarded on it, causing it to chip.

Doylestown Borough Police are investigating an incident involving a skateboarder allegedly damaging a concrete wall at the Mercer Museum.

According to borough police, a representative from the museum called on May 30 to report damage to a concrete wall near the building's main entrance. The damage, according to the museum's video surveillance and police reports, was allegedly caused by a skateboarder.

Video surveillance shows a man applying wax to the area, then riding his skateboard on the wall, causing pieces of concrete to chip away, police said.

Police describe the man as 6 feet tall with brown hair. He was wearing tan shorts, a red t-shirt and black shoes.
