The CVS Bandit hit the on Friday July 20 and again a week later on July 27, Penecale said. Both thefts are believed to have occured around 5 p.m.

Penecale said the suspect is stealing numerous packages of products off the shelves.

"It's the same product, it's just product that's expensive," he said.

CVS security contacted the borough police department after reviewing security tape footage from the Doylestown store and other stores which have been targeted, Penecale said. The company believes the same man is responsible for all the thefts.

The suspect is described as being about 40 years old, and he was last seen wearing a dark blazer, khaki pants, a striped shirt, and dark shoes, according to the police report.

Penecale said the pharmacy chain believes it has identified the suspect and is working with authorities to try to track him down.

"Security caught the thefts on tape, and we're working from that," Penecale said, declining to release further details about the suspect for now.
