Rt. 611 Closed After Car Crash

The Route 611 Bypass around Doylestown had to be closed late Saturday night after a car crash.

The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. near the Swamp Road (Rt. 313) exit.

Witnesses reported seeing one overturned car in the southbound lanes of the Bypass and another car in the northbound lanes.

Rescuers, including those from the Doylestown Fire Co., were working late Saturday to remove at least one person from the overturned car.

Rt. 611 had to be closed for a time as investigators responded to the crash scene.
