Police closed the busy roadway from Court Street to North Street in Doylestown because of downed wires.
Traffic through part of Doylestown got a lot busier Tuesday, due to a temporary closure of Route 313.
Police closed the busy roadway from Court Street to North Street for a time Tuesday afternoon. Traffic was rerouted onto West Court Street and North Street to avoid the area.
The road was closed after a Bucks County truck carrying a backhoe exited the driveway near the Moravian Pottery and Tileworks. The truck inadvertently pulled down some overhead wires, police said.
