Police: Thief Stole iPad, Pillow and Bottle of Sleeping Pills

The burglary happened last week on North Street.

Doylestown Borough Police are searching for a thief in need of some entertainment - and a good night's sleep.

A resident of the 400 block of North Street told police recently that someone entered his residence and stole three items. Reported missing were an iPad, valued at about $650, a pillow, and a bottle of sleeping pills.

The theft occurred sometime between 6:55 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, police said

There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.

Burglary

A resident of the tens block of W. Ashland Street reported that someone broke into her residence sometime between 5:30 PM on Sunday, December 18 and 8:32 PM on Monday, December 19.

A 32” television, a laptop, and a portable DVD player were removed from the residence.

Entry was made through prying open a kitchen window.

The missing items are valued at approximately $1,400.

Assault

Debra Kilkenny, 38, Kensington Avenue, Staten Island, NY, was arrested on Friday, December 16 at approximately 3:28 PM after she allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation outside a W. State Street medical office.

The victim reported that Kilkenny threw her to the ground and then took unlawful custody of several children that the victim was transporting.

Kilkenny is also charged with interfering with the custody of children, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

Harassment

A citation has been filed against Shannon McKinney, 34, Harvey Avenue, Doylestown, for allegedly harassing a neighbor by playing loud music, banging on a shared wall between the residences, and leaving threatening notes in the neighbor’s door.

Driving Under the influence

Joshua Riley, 21, Misty Meadow, Perkasie, was arrested on Friday, December 16 at approximately 9:52 PM after officers received the report of an intoxicated male urinating in the parking lot of an Ashland Street restaurant and then entering his vehicle in an attempt to leave the parking lot.

During the investigation, Riley was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication.

Riley was taken to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood, which he refused.

Riley is also charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Criminal Mischief

A resident of Broadale Road reported that someone egged her residence on Friday, December 16 at approximately 9:40 PM.

Assault

Officers are investigating the report of an assault that occurred on Sunday, December 18 at approximately 12:10 AM in a S. Main Street bar.

The victim reported that he was struck on the left side of his face after he confronted a male who was verbally abusing another patron.

The suspect is described as having tattoos on his neck and a star on the back of his left hand.

Public Drunkenness

William Seitzinger, 23, Providence Avenue, Doylestown, was cited on Sunday, December 18 at approximately 4:40 AM after a courthouse security officer reported an intoxicated male in the parking garage.

Assault

Charges are pending against a 17-year old male student at after he allegedly engaged in a physical confrontation during lunch on Monday, December 19.

The victim was allegedly struck in the head and face several times.

Assault

Thomas Cassel, 45, no fixed abode, was arrested on Wednesday, December 21 at approximately 9:19 PM after he allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another male at the train station.

The victim suffered a large contusion above his left eye and a laceration to his forehead.

Cassel was also charged with public drunkenness. 

Theft

A resident of Kershaw Avenue reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle sometime between 10:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20 and 5:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21 and removed several wrapped packages and a backpack containing identification and approximately $10.
