Police Searching for Armed Robber

Police said he displayed a box cutter while robbing a local gas station.

Doylestown Township police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Sunday at the Shell Gas Station at 1807 Easton Road, they said Sunday afternoon.

Police said the suspect displayed a box cutter and demanded that all the cash in the station's register be put into a plastic bag.

The robbery happened Sunday at about 12:30 a.m. at the station on Rt. 611, just south of Doylestown, police said.

Police are investigating whether this robbery is connected to other similar robberies that have been reported in other Bucks and Montgomery County municipalities, including Bedminster and Hilltown townships, Quakertown borough and Hatfield Township in Montgomery County.
 
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a green jacket with a hood covering his head. It was also reported that the subject had a white t-shirt or towel covering his face; all that could be seen were the subject's eyes, police said.

The suspect was described as 20 to 30 years old, and about six feet tall and 175 pounds.
