Police: Man Drove Through CB West Students

He had been ordered to stay away from the school, police said.

Criminal Trespass

Charges have been filed against Dylan Golaszewski, 20, Milords Lane, Doylestown, after he allegedly drove over a sidewalk, onto a grassy area, and through a group of students exiting on Friday, March 9 at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Golaszewski had been court ordered not to come within 500 feet of the school at the end of January.

Golaszewski is also charged with recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, and careless driving.

Craig Hange, 20, Ridge Road, Perkasie, was arrested on Thursday, March 8 at approximately 7:01 PM after the vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped for suspected marijuana smoke billowing out the windows while traveling on State Street in the area of Clinton Street.

During the traffic stop, officers recovered a small bag of suspected marijuana, a glass pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana, and an electronic scale.

Seth Reger, 20, Ridge Road, Perkasie, a passenger in the vehicle, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol after he was noted to exhibit signs of alcohol consumption.

The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year old male, Route 113, Perkasie, was cited for possession of alcohol for having containers of alcoholic beverages in his vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence

Kevin Dunn, 43, Lacey Avenue, Doylestown, was arrested on Thursday, March 8 at approximately 11:20 p.m. after officers were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked across several parking stalls at the post office.

During the investigation, Dunn was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Dunn was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Drug Violations

David Engelbert, 18, Poplar Lane, Doylestown, was arrested on Saturday, March 10 at approximately 12:55 a.m. after officers stopped to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked on the Bennett Drive cul-de-sac.

A small amount of suspected marijuana and rolling papers were discovered during the investigation.

Driving Under the Influence

Valerie Smith, 68, Hillendale Road, Perkasie, was arrested on Saturday, March 10 at approximately 4:59 p.m. after the people she was visiting reported that she arrived at their residence intoxicated.

During the investigation, Smith was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Smith was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Public Drunkenness

John Capano, 24, Sourwood Drive, Hatfield, was cited on Sunday, March 11 at approximately 7:22 a.m. after he was observed sleeping in the lobby of a State Street apartment complex.

Capano was also cited for trespassing.

Theft

An iPad was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot on Monday, March 12 at approximately 5:20 p.m.

The iPad is in a black leather case with a silver Apple logo embossed on it.

The iPad is valued at approximately $600.

Theft

An employee at the had an iPad and Blackberry stolen from the front lobby area on Tuesday, March 13 at approximately 3:28 p.m.

The male suspect is described as approximately 5’7”, medium build, with black hair, moustache, and beard. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans. The female suspect is described as having black hair pulled into a ponytail. She was last seen wearing black capri pants, a white tee shirt with a black overlay shirt.

The stolen items are valued at approximately $750.
