Police: Man Ditched Bar Tab, Stole Nail Polish

And the Doylestown Historical Society's mule was vandalized.

A Telford man was cited this week after police say he got drunk in a Doylestown bar, left without paying his bill, then stole from the CVS.

The incidents occurred Monday, April 16, according to Doylestown Borough police.

Robert Squires, 53, Washington Street, Telford, was cited at about 4:23 p.m. after he allegedly left without paying his $21 tab at a Main Street bar, police said Friday.

Squires was arrested three hours later after a representative of CVS reported a drunk man "staggering around the store," according to police reports. He was arrested at about 7:37 p.m., police said.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and retail theft after several bottles of nail polish and a package of moisturizer were located in his clothing during his arrest, according to police.

Here are the other incidents reported in this week's police log:

Drug Violations

Lynn Andrejasik, 25, Lilac Lane, Jamison, was arrested on Wednesday, April 11 at approximately 9:42 PM after officers received the report of a suspicious female sleeping in a vehicle parked in a Main Street convenience store lot.

During the investigation, Andrejasik was found to possess several packages of suspected cocaine and heroin.

Disorderly Conduct

A citation has been filed against Alyson Wass, 32, Decatur Street, for allegedly creating a disturbance with excessive noise on Thursday, April 12 at approximately 11:32 p.m.

Wass had been warned on several previous occasions about noise at her residence.

Criminal Mischief

A sign noting the location of the office at was removed from the grounds on Thursday, April 5 at approximately 3:00 a.m. A large flower pot near the office entrance was also knocked over.

Video surveillance shows three individuals causing the damage. The individuals appear to be teenagers, one of which was wearing a hoodie with the Adidas logo on the front.

Theft

A student at reported that someone removed her iPhone from a gym locker on Friday, April 13 between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.

The phone has a purple case and is valued at approximately $700.

Driving Under the Influence

Hugh Curran, 41, New Hope, was arrested on Friday, April 13 at about 11:36 p.m. after he allegedly failed to stop his vehicle at a posted stop sign at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Church Street.

During the traffic stop, Curran was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Curran was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Nicole Curran, 43, New Hope, was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly creating a disturbance and interfering in the above investigation.

Driving Under the Influence

Richard Scott, 38, Captain Molly Circle, Doylestown, was arrested on Saturday, April 14 at approximately 1:33 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving was observed traveling in the wrong direction on Oakland Avenue in the area of Main Street.

During the traffic stop, Scott was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform a field sobriety test, which he failed.

Scott was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Ordinance Violation

Todd Griffin, 48, Basin Street, Norristown, was cited on Monday, April 16 at approximately 6:49 p.m. for allegedly soliciting without a permit on Cottage Street.

Griffin had been warned earlier in the evening about the need for a permit.

Disorderly Conduct

Brett Gordon, 28, Turk Road, Doylestown, was cited on Tuesday, April 17 at approximately 12:05 a.m. after he was allegedly observed urinating on the fence at the rear of a Main Street convenience store.

Theft

A resident of the double-digit block of S. Clinton Street reported that someone removed two concrete planters from her walkway sometime between Monday morning and 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18.

The planters are approximately 12” X 18” with a filigree design on top.

The planters are valued at approximately $75.

Criminal Mischief

Graffiti was written in blue marker on a kiosk in the Plaza West parking lot sometime between 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 and 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18.

Theft

A representative from the on Veterans Lane reported that three bottles of vodka were removed from the store on Monday, April 16 between approximately 8:37 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

Surveillance video shows two females removing the bottles from the shelf but not presenting the items for purchase at the time of check-out.

The vodka is valued at $104.91.

Public Drunkenness

William Seitzinger, 23, Providence Avenue, Doylestown, was cited on Thursday, April 19 at about 1:24 a.m. after he allegedly created a disturbance outside a Shewell Avenue bar.

Seitzinger was also cited for disorderly conduct.

Criminal Mischief

The mule in the was dislodged from its base and graffiti was written on its side sometime during the overnight hours of Wednesday, April 18 into Thursday, April 19.

Graffiti was also written on the rear wall of the Historical Society building and an electric meter attached to the building.
