Police made two arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol controlled substance during the week of Friday, Jan. 6 through Tuesday, Jan. 10.
On Jan. 6, around 4:10 a.m., the police department investigated a vehicle that had been driving with a flat tire on Route 611. Police smelled the odor of alcohol on the driver, Emma Good, 24, of Doylestown. She failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. She provided blood samples for testing. She was charged with Driving Under Influence of Alcohol Controlled Substance before District Judge Mark Douple later that day.
On Jan. 10, at 10:35 p.m., Scott Runyan, 47, of Doylestown, was placed under arrest after failing to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He provided blood samples for testing. He was charged with Driving Under Influence of Alcohol Controlled Substance before District Judge Mark Douple the following day, Wednesday, Jan. 11.
