Assault and Retail Theft Reported in Doylestown Township

Doylestown Township Police released the following information on recent arrests.

Assault

On July 2, 2012 William Mays, 21, Philadelphia was charged with one count of simple assault after a domestic assault which occurred in the 500 block of West State Street.

Mays was arraigned by District Judge Douple where bail was set at $75,000 unsecured with additional conditions that Mays was to have no further contact with the 19 year old victim.

Retail Theft

On July 20, 2012 Kaderra Robinson, 19, Doylestown and Tori Reynolds, 21, Hartsville, were arrested and charged with Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy to commit retail theft after they were observed taking merchandise from the Kohl's department store. Robinson and Reynolds were arraigned by Dsitruct Judge Douple and released on $25,000 ROR bail.

Public Drunkenness

On 7/21/12 Kyle Tufts, 22, Doylestown was charged with Public Drunkeness after he was found sleeping in the roadway in the 2300 block of Lower State Road.

Driving Under the Influence

On July 20, 2012 John Lynch, 59, Kintnersville, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after officers observed him operating his vehicle in an erratic manner on the Route 611 Bypass.

On June 28, 2012 Amy King, 39, Pipersville, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after officers observed her operating a Toyota Camry in the 1100 block of Sandy Ridge Road when her vehicle left the roadway, striking a Peco utility pole.

On Friday, June 22nd, 2012 Vincent Loffredo, 43, Warrington, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after officers observed him operating a Ford Taurus southbound on Easton Road in an erratic manner.
