New Regional Police Department Now Operational

Doylestown Borough Council and New Britain Borough Council have appointed members to the Central Bucks Regional Police Commission.

A commission overseeing the new regional police department that includes Doylestown Borough and New Britain Borough has appointed new members for 2014.

Doylestown Borough Council and New Britain Borough Council have appointed the following members to the Central Bucks Regional Police Commission for 2014:

Det Ansinn (Councilman, Doylestown Borough) 
Susan Madian (Councilwoman, Doylestown Borough)
Ron Strouse (Mayor, Doylestown Borough)
Margaret Remmey (Councilwoman, New Britain Borough)
David Holewinski (Mayor, New Britain Borough)

Joe Cangelosi a New Britain Borough councilman, will serve as the alternate.

The two municipalities merged their police departments as of Jan. 1. The new department, the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, is headquartered at 57 W Court St, Doylestown. Click here to visit the website or here to like the regional police department on Facebook. 

The next Central Bucks Regional Police Commission meeting will be held on January 22, 7:30 PM, Doylestown Borough Hall, 57 W. Court St.
