More Copper Downspout Thefts Reported in Borough, Police Say

Approximately 100 feet of copper downspouts were reported stolen this week. The downspouts are valued at $1,500, police said.

More thefts of copper downspouts were reported this week in Doylestown Borough, police say.

Throughout October, borough police have received numerous reports that thieves are targeting copper downspouts.

Police said there have been five additional reports this week of stolen copper downspouts.

The thefts were reported on the 100 block of E. State Street, the 100 block of E. Court Street, the double-digit block of W. State Street, the double-digit block of E. Oakland Avenue and the 100 block of E. Oakland Avenue.

Approximately 100 feet of copper have been stolen, valued at approximately $1,500, police said.
