Meadow Lane Home Burglarized Wednesday, Police Say

More than $4,600 worth of jewelry and silver was stolen during the daytime theft, according to Doylestown Borough Police.

A Meadow Lane home was burglarized during the day on Wednesday and more than $4,600 worth of jewelry and silver was stolen, according to Doylestown Borough Police.

According to police, the resident reported that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., someone stole several pieces of jewelry and a mahogany box containing sterling silverware service for 12.

Police said the burglar likely got in through an unsecured window.

The missing jewelry is described as a diamond engagement ring with a gold band, two gold rings and three pairs of gold hoop earrings.

The items are valued at approximately $4,650.
