Man Injured, Cat Rescued in Solebury Township Fire

Numerous fire and rescue officials responded to the fire, which began in the garage of a home on Ephross Circle.

One man was injured and a cat rescued in a fire on Ephross Circle in Solebury Township on Thursday night.

Numerous fire and rescue officials responded to the fire, which began around 8 p.m. in the garage of the home, according to information from Solebury Township police.

The injured man was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital.

A cat was also rescued in the blaze. A Solebury Township police officer and Central Bucks Ambulance workers cleared the cat’s airways of soot and debris and administered oxygen until the cat became conscious, Solebury police said via Facebook.

Midway Fire Co. was assisted by Point Pleasant Fire Co., New Hope Eagle Fire Co., Lingohocken Fire Co,. Warwick Fire Co. and Central Bucks Ambulance.

Ephross Circle is located off Aquetong Road.

The condition of the man injured was not immediately available.
