Man Helps Himself to $320 from Gas Station's Register

A man took $320 from the cash register at Liberty during an incident Monday, police said.

A man wearing a Phillies shirt stole $320 from the Liberty gas station on W. State Street Monday, according to information from Doylestown Borough Police. 

According to police, a dark-haired man in his mid-20s came into the store, paid for gas and a soda then “reached over and removed” about $320 from the register. He then ran to his car, a silver Toyota Corolla with a spare tire on the right front, police said.

The incident happened right around 5 p.m. Monday, police said.
