Man Accused of Holding Woman in Doylestown Motel Against Her Will

Police said he had guns and drugs at the Days Inn on Doylestown's North Main Street.

 

A Quakertown man has been charged with kidnapping and a host of other charges after an incident at the Days Inn in Doylestown.

Richard Bianchini, 31, Ivy Court, Quakertown, was arrested on Saturday, May 12 at about 8:34 a.m. after he allegedly held a woman in a room at the motel and refused to let her leave, Doylestown Borough police said Thursday.

The victim reported that Bianchini pointed a handgun at her, they said; he also had a shotgun, according to police.

Charges include possessing an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, assault, and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Bianchini was arraigned before District Justice Mark Douple and remanded to in lieu of 10 percent of $1 million bail.

Driving Under the Influence

David Crockett, 28, Constitution Avenue, Doylestown, was arrested on Thursday, May 10 at about 8:03 p.m. after he was stopped for driving his vehicle without a valid inspection sticker displayed in the windshield.

During the traffic stop, officers observed a strong odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle and on Crockett’s clothing.

Crockett has also been charged with drug violations, as he was found in possession of two small bags of suspected marijuana and a pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana.

Crockett was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Recklessly Endangering Another Person

Charges are pending against David Assal, 48, Durham Road, Newtown, after he allegedly struck a parked vehicle as occupants were exiting and then fled the scene.

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 10 at about 10:34 p.m. on the double-digit block of East Oakland Avenue.

Charges include flight to avoid apprehension, accident involving property damage, failure to render aid, and various driving violations.

Ordinance Violation

A 17-year old male, Doylestown, was cited for violating park hours at Hillside Park on Friday, May 11 at about 8:38 p.m.

The male had been previously warned about the regulations concerning park hours.

Liquor Laws

Citations have been filed against Kelsea Skelton, 20, Clearfield Avenue, Trooper, after she allegedly used a fake identification to gain entry into .

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 3 at about 9:30 p.m.

Driving Under the influence

James Keyte, 20, Oxford Court, Hatfield, was arrested on Saturday, May 12 at approximately 2:49 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving was stopped for traveling through a red light at the intersection of State and West Streets.

During the traffic stop, Keyte was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Keyte was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

A passenger in the vehicle, Ryan Karcher, 20, Walker Road, Ambler, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol after he was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication during the incident.

Public Drunkenness

Dylan Borger, 21, Bucks Road, Perkasie, was cited on Sunday, May 13 at approximately 1:34 a.m. after an officer allegedly observed him urinating on a tree in the area of Main Street and Oakland Avenue.

Borger was also cited for disorderly conduct.

Disorderly Conduct

Alexander Ventresca, 21, Carlisle Street, Philadelphia, was cited on Sunday, May 13 at approximately 2:45 a.m. after he allegedly urinated in the doorway of an East Oakland Avenue business.

Arson

Charges have been filed against three 14-year old males, all from Doylestown, after they allegedly started a fire on the roof of the on Tuesday, May 15 at approximately 6:52 p.m.

No damage was done to the building.

The juveniles are also charged with disorderly conduct, risking a catastrophe, and trespassing.

Criminal Mischief

A representative from reported that someone overturned flowerpots outside of the business and threw dirt at the front windows sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 and 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16.

The business sign for the Shops at Taylor Alley was cracked and two planters were overturned sometime between 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16.

Driving Under the influence

Kristin Rusinko, 27, Ferry Road, New Hope, was arrested on Thursday, May 17 at approximately 12:09 a.m. after she was stopped for driving her vehicle above the posted speed limit on State Street in the area of Boro Mill Hill Road.

During the traffic stop, Rusinko was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Rusinko was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.
