The library in Doylestown reported this week being the victim of a high-priced theft.

A representative from the Bucks County Free Library, Doylestown branch, reported that someone removed several pieces of electronic equipment recently.

Two iPads, four Nexus 7 tablets, and a Kindle Fire HD are among the items taken, according to police reports released this week.

The equipment was taken from a locked storage closet on the second floor of the library building on Pine Street. It happened sometime between Thursday, Feb. 21 and Thursday, March 7, library officials said.

The missing items are valued at about $2,113.
