Fire Damages Doylestown Township Home

A fire Wednesday afternoon damaged a Doylestown Township home.

 

No one was injured but a home in Doylestown Township was damaged when a fire broke out Wednesday afternoon.

A fire was reported at 116 Conestoga Dr. at 1:51 p.m. Heavy black smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the home and flames were visible when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters had the fire under control by 2:13 p.m.

Fire companies from Doylestown, Chalfont and Warrington responded to the blaze, as did the Central Bucks Ambulance squad.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Doylestown Township fire marshal Rick Schea and the Bucks County fire marshal are handling the investigation.
