Dude, Where's My Car?

A local resident said he let his acquaintance take his Volvo to the car wash on Aug. 31. He hasn't seen the car since.

What would you do if you lent your car to an acquaintance and never got it back?

That’s what happened to one local man, according to Doylestown Borough Police.

The man told police that he let his acquaintance, who was interested in purchasing his 1986 Volvo, take it to the car wash on Aug. 31.

But he hasn’t seen the car since. He reported the incident to Doylestown Borough Police Monday.

The car is described as a 1986 silver Volvo with four doors.
