Doylestown Woman Injured in Crash

Her minivan hit a tree; police are searching for information.

A Doylestown Township woman was injured Tuesday night when her minivan struck a tree, and police are asking for help in trying to figure out what happened.

Jennifer Walentukonis, 45, was found unresponsive and alone in her vehicle, crumpled against a tree on Settlers Drive at Sandy Ridge Road. Doylestown Township police said the crash happened around 8:05 p.m. Tuesday.

No one was with her in the car and police have been unable to find any witnesses to the crash.

They believe Walentukonis was driving west on Broad Street, failed to stop at the stop sign at Sandy Ridge Road and entered Settlers Drive where her vehicle jumped the curb and careened across the lawn into a tree.

Emergency responders found Walentukonis unresponsive and she had sustained head injuries. With the help of the , she was flown by Medivac helicopter to Temple University Hospital.
