Doylestown Twp Appoints Acting Police Chief

The township said farewell this week to longtime chief Stephen White.

Doylestown Township got a new police chief this week for the first time in nearly 25 years.

"It goes without saying he's probably one of the best chiefs of police in the country," township supervisors chairman Barbara Lyons said of White. "I think the whole township has been elevated by his standing in national and international police associations."
