Driving Under the Influence, Underage Drinking, and related charges
On Aug. 20 at 2:10 am, a vehicle was observed traveling on Route 611 swerving in the lane of travel. The driver, although initially giving false identification, was identified as Samuel Barndt, 18, of Willow Grove.
He had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about him. He failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest. The above charges were filed before District Judge Mark Douple on Aug. 22.
Three passengers - Joseph Headley, 19, of Philadelphia; Brett Leftwich, 18, of Huntingdon Valley; and Mark Sipple, 18, of Willow Grove were issued summary citations for underage drinking.

Residential Burglary
On Aug. 22, the department investigated a burglary that was reported in the 400 block of Bella Circle. It was determined that entry was made through an unlocked first floor window. A wallet with credit cards was stolen.
