DUI, public drunk and theft from Kohl's.

Public Drunkenness

On 08/12/2011 at 6:30 pm, the department responded to the area of Easton Road and Edison Furlong Road for an intoxicated subject. Investigation identified Leslie Lee, 47, of Doylestown, had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about her and exhibited signs of impairment. She was arraigned before District Judge Robert Roth on the above charge and lodged in the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol

On 08/14/2011 at 5:10 am, a vehicle was observed stopped on Almshouse Road at Route 611. The driver, Jeffrey Calcagno, 28 years of age, Jamison, PA, was unresponsive and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about him. He failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He was arrested and provided blood samples for testing. The above charges were filed before District Judge Mark Douple on 08/15/2011.

Driving Under Influence of Alcohol and related charge

On 08/13/2011 at 2:05 am, a vehicle was observed traveling on Route 611 swerving in the lane of travel. The driver, Eric Patel, 29, of New Hope, had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about him. He failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests. He was arrested and provided blood samples for testing. The above charges were filed before District Judge Mark Douple on 08/15/2011.

Retail Theft

On 08/14/2010, the department was called to Kohl’s Department Store, 1745 Easton Road for a report of retail theft. Investigation determined that Ray Wampole, 31, of Upper Black Eddy, had removed a watch valued at $39.99. He was issued a summary citation for retail theft and released.
