Teens cited for stealing from Redner's, and a home on Hart Avenue is broken into.

Residential Burglaries

On Tuesday, August 9, the Doylestown Township police department investigated a burglary reported in the 100 block of Hart Avenue.

It was determined that forced entry was made through kitchen window. An amount of jewelry was stolen in the burglary.

Residents are requested to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods, no matter how minor, to 215-348-4201.

Retail Theft

On Wednesday, August 10, at 6:10 p.m., the department was called to Redner’s Market, 1661 Easton Road, Doylestown Pointe Plaza, for a report of retail theft.

Investigation determined that a 13 year old female from Warrington and a 14 year old male from Chalfont had removed items for sale valued at $33.64.

They were issued summary citations for retail theft and turned over to their parents.
