Doylestown Township Police Blotter

The warmer weather has brought out the thieves again.

Doylestown Township police were busy over the holiday weekend, responding to numerous reports of burglaries to homes - where they forced their way in - and to unlocked vehicles.

The reports include:

Residential Burglary
Between 7 am and 3 pm on May 26, unknown(s) entered a home in the 2100 block of Easton Road by forcing a rear window. Items of jewelry were stolen.
 
Residential Burglary
Between 9 am and 12:30 pm on May 27, unknown(s) entered a home in the 700 block of York Road. The following items were stolen: 2 Air Soft rifles; 2 - 2 way radios, 2 head sets and a gear bag
 
Residential Burglary
Between 6 am and 10:45 on May 30, unknown(s) entered a home in the 300 block of Edison Furlong Road by forcing a rear window. Items of jewelry were stolen.

Theft from Unlocked Vehicles
On May 29, the department investigated a theft between 1:30 pm and 3 pm, reported from an unlocked vehicle in Turk Park II. A wallet, cash and credit cards were stolen.
 
Theft from Unlocked Vehicle
On May 29 at 7:50 am, the department investigated a theft reported from a vehicle in the 2 digit block of Piccadilly Circle. It was reported that 2 cordless drills; 2 cordless impact drivers; a sliding compound miter saw; an electric air compressor; and 2 circular saws were stolen from an unsecured work truck and trailer in the 2 digit block of Leapson Lane.

Commercial Burglary
Sometime between  May 27 and May 30, unknown(s) entered a business office in the 400 block of Swamp Road. The following items were stolen: 50 inch Panasonic TV plus remote; DVD player remote; 46 inch Sony Bravia L.C.D. Digital TV plus remote; (2) HP Digital 8 inch picture frames; a Canon 40D camera with Sigma 105 macro lens and outboard flash package; Canon MR14EX macro ring flash; Canon EF 20mm F2.8 wide angle lens; Canon EF 28-200 telephoto zoom lens; a Camera case and a small amount of cash.
 
Retail Theft
On May 24 at 2:40 pm, the department was called to Redner’s Market, 1661 Easton Road, Doylestown Pointe Plaza, for a report of retail theft. Investigation determined that Kelly Hanson, 49, of Warrington, had removed an item of value totaling $8.99. The above charge was filed before District Judge Mark Douple on May 25.
 
Retail Theft
On May 25 at 6:55 pm, the department was called to Redner’s Market, 1661 Easton Road, Doylestown Pointe Plaza, for a report of retail theft. Investigation determined that Vladislaw Belkovski, 21, of Warrington, had removed an item of value totaling $3.79. He was issued a summary citation for retail theft.
