Doylestown Borough Police reported the following recent arrests and incidents.

Theft

A backpack containing identification, credit cards, two prescription medications, and approximately $20 in cash was removed from a vehicle parked in the Plaza West lot on Monday, Sept. 3 between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

A resident of the 100 block of S. Franklin Street reported that someone removed three pillows and a small china flowerpot from her front porch sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4 and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

The missing items are valued at approximately $52.

Theft

A license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked on Oakland Avenue in the area of Main Street on Saturday, Sept. 1 at approximately 2:15 a.m.

Driving Under the Influence

A 24-year-old man, of Hudson Street, Hoboken, NJ, was arrested on Sunday, September 2 at approximately 12:11 a.m. after he was stopped for driving his vehicle above the posted speed limit on Green Street in the area of Homestead Drive. 

During the traffic stop, Barton was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which were marginal.

Barton was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Driving Under the Influence

A 24-year-old man of Circle Drive, Chalfont, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 1 at about 1:04 a.m. after he allegedly failed to stop his vehicle at a stop sign at the intersection of W. State and Hamilton Streets.

During the traffic stop, Rossi was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Rossi was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Driving Under the Influence

A 26-year-old woman of Spring Meadow Drive, Warrington, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 1 at approximately 2:04 a.m. after she allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of W. Oakland Avenue and Clinton Street.

During the traffic stop, Mehaffey was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed. 

Mehaffey was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests. 

Public Drunkenness

A 22-year-old man of Green Street, Doylestown, was cited on Monday, Sept. 3 at approximately 2:19 a.m. after he was observed sleeping on the sidewalk in front of .
