Drug Violations

Robert Hoover, 54, no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday, February 26 at approximately 7:26 AM on S. Main Street in the area of Clemens Road after he was found in possession of syringes.

Attempted Theft

A representative from Acme Markets reported that a male attempted to receive a refund for products that he did not purchase.

On Saturday, February 26 at approximately 1:23 PM, the male attempted to return Brita water filters and a cordless broom that he claimed to purchase three days prior. When the store representative attempted to locate the sale, he was unable to locate any sale of these products in the previous three weeks.

The items are valued at $79.98.

The male is described as being in his early twenties, wearing a blue coat, blue jeans, and a tan shirt. He is believed to drive an older model bluish gray Plymouth Reliant or Dodge Aries K car.

Harassment

Roberta Patton, 24, Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, was cited on Sunday, February 27 at approximately 12:37 AM after she allegedly spit on an employee of Stephanie’s Restaurant, after he requested a second form of identification to enter the bar.

Theft

A vehicle parked on the 400 block of North Street had its left rear window smashed and a wallet removed from the vehicle sometime between 12:00 AM and 10:03 AM on Sunday, February 27.

The wallet contained the victim’s identification, debit cards, college room key, and approximately $60 cash.

In addition, the word “were” was scratched into the hood of the vehicle.

No estimate for the damage has been provided.

Drug Violations

Christine Davis, 21, Emmons Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, was arrested on Monday, February 28 at approximately 10:16 AM after she allegedly attempted to enter the Bucks County Courthouse with a bag of suspected marijuana in her purse.

Driving Under the Influence

James Goodman, 55, Sheffield Court, Bensalem, was arrested on Tuesday, March 1 at approximately 1:36 PM after officers were called to check the well being of a male sleeping in his vehicle in the County VIP lot on E. Court Street.

In speaking with Goodman, he was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Goodman was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.
