Doylestown Man Dies in Triple-Fatal Accident on I-81

John Reardon died instantly in the crash, which occurred just after 3:10 p.m. Sunday.

A 70-year-old Doylestown man was one of three people killed in a fatal car accident Sunday on Interstate 81 in Franklin County.

According to PennLive.com, John Reardon died instantly in the crash, which occurred just after 3:10 p.m. Sunday.

The article said Reardon was driving with friends on the south side of the highway when a northbound vehicle crossed the median and hit the car he was driving.

Four others were injured in the accident, which shut down both southbound lanes for hours, PennLive.com reported.

Anna Pecht of Huntingdon Valley was a passenger in back of the vehicle, according to published reports. She was also pronounced dead at the scene.

Her husband, Allen Pecht, 84, died Monday from injuries sustained in the accident.
