Doylestown Man Airlifted After N.J. Boating Accident

Brian McCabe, 52, was airlifted after a boating accident near Harvey Cedars. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A Doylestown man who was boating in New Jersey was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday after he hit an inland waterway channel marker and got a concussion, the Asbury Park Press reported.

According to the publication, Brian McCabe, 52, hit the marker Tuesday around 11 a.m. near Harvey Cedars. 

Authorities told the Asbury Park Press that McCabe was the only person on the boat and he was taken to an Atlantic City hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Harvey Cedars Police Chief Thomas Preiser told TheSandPaper.net that several bayfront homeowners witnessed the accident and took their boats out to help McCabe.
