Doylestown Borough Police Log

A South Main Street restaurant was burglarized for the second day in a row.

Burglary

was again burglarized on Tuesday, February 15 at approximately 11:20 PM.

The front door was shattered and approximately $225 was removed from a cash register and approximately $1,000 was removed from an office safe.

Video surveillance shows the suspect as a white male wearing blue jeans, a light blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, a white t-shirt, a dark mask covering the lower portion of his face, dark gloves, and white plastic bags over his shoes.

The restaurant had been burglarized of Monday, Feb. 14. In that attack, the lower half of the rear door was shattered to gain access to the business.

Approximately $3,110 had been removed from a safe in the office.

Video surveillance of that break-in showed the suspect wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and white gloves with a black logo (suspected batting gloves).

Drug Violations

Andrew Young, 24, Main Street, Doylestown, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 17 at about 11:36 PM after he was found in possession of a small bottle of suspected marijuana.
