Police investigating an alarm at a motel found underage teens with drugs and alcohol.

Drug Violations

A 14-year old male and a 16-year old male were arrested on Friday, September 2 at approximately 1:45 AM after officers located a small bag of suspected marijuana and an opened case of beer in the motel room they were renting.

Officers were investigating a fire alarm at the location.

Several flowerpots were removed from the front walkway of an E. Oakland Avenue business during the overnight hours of Thursday, September 1 into Friday, September 2.

The contents of the pots were dumped in the Plaza East parking lot.

In addition, the business sign for the Plaza East lot was taken.

No value for the missing sign has been reported.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked at a residence on the 100 block of Lafayette Street was damaged during the early morning hours of Friday, September 2.

Damage consisted of a large dent to the passenger side near the rear door.

No estimate for the damage has been reported.

Harassment

A 13-year old male reported that a large group of juveniles approached him and some friends while at Burpee Park on Friday, September 2 at approximately 7:00 PM.

The group allegedly yelled at the male, pushed him to the ground, and jumped on top of him.

Public Drunkenness

Antonio Guarchaj, 41, Court Street, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, September 3 at approximately 1:05 AM after he was allegedly observed staggering on Main Street in the area of State Street.

Burglary

A representative from Chapin Aesthetics reported that someone entered the business sometime between 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 3 and 8:40 AM on Tuesday, September 6.

Approximately $200 and a Canon digital camera were removed from the business.

Entry appears to have been made through an unsecured window.

Disorderly Conduct

Charges have been filed against Ray Sbarro, 51, Azalea Way, Hamilton, NJ, for allegedly throwing a cup of coffee at the rear door of a W. State Street restaurant on Tuesday, September 6 at approximately 6:50 AM.

A representative from the restaurant reported that this type of incident has occurred at the restaurant approximately three to four times per week over the past four months.

Sbarro was also charged with harassment and scattering rubbish.

Burglary

A representative from a N. West Street doctor’s office reported that someone entered the office sometime between 5:30 PM on Tuesday, September 6 and 7:30 AM on Wednesday, September 7.

Entry appears to have been made through an unsecured first floor window.

Nothing appears to be missing from the office.

Burglary

A representative from an E. State Street salon reported that someone entered the business sometime between 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6 and 8:10 AM on Wednesday, September 7.

Entry appears to have been made through an unsecured window.

Approximately $100 was removed from the business.

Burglary

A representative from a N. West Street office reported that someone entered the business sometime between 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6 and 8:40 AM on Wednesday, September 7.

A laptop computer valued at approximately $700 and a VISA card were removed from the office.

Entry was made through an unsecured window.

Theft

A representative from the reported that someone removed four 6’ sections of copper wiring from around the building. The wiring is used for grounding lightning.

The theft was discovered last week.

No value for the wiring has been provided.

Burglary

A representative from an E. State Street cosmetic store reported that someone entered the business sometime between 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6 and 10:50 AM on Wednesday, September 7.

Approximately $20 in coins was removed from the counter area.

Forced entry was made through a side window.
