Doylestown Borough Police Log

A laser is stolen from Doylestown Presbyterian and necklaces from a resident of Golden Living nursing home.

Theft

A green beam laser was stolen from the construction site at St. Andrews Hall at sometime during the overnight hours of Wednesday, June 22 into Thursday, June 23.

The laser is valued at approximately $1,500.

There were no signs of forced entry into the building.

Theft

A resident of reported that four necklaces have been stolen since March 2008, with the latest being sometime on June 22 or June 23.

All necklaces included a gold chain with small ornament. One ornament is a heart-shaped charm; another was a glass bubble ornament.

The necklaces are valued at approximately $400.

Theft

A purse containing approximately $15 cash and several gift cards was removed from an unsecured vehicle parked on Stacey Drive during the evening hours on Wednesday, June 22.

Driving Under the Influence

Michael Fagnani, 25, Olde Pilgrim Road, Dublin, was arrested on Friday, June 24 at about 2:18 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving struck a guard rail at the northbound entrance to the Route 611 bypass at Broad Street.

During the accident investigation, Fagnani was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Fagnani was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Driving Under the Influence

Michael Seder, 27, Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, was arrested on Saturday, June 25 at aboout 2:29 a.m. after he was observed driving his vehicle the wrong way on Donaldson Street, a one-way street.

During the traffic stop, Seder was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. Seder was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Seder was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Criminal Mischief

Graffiti was discovered on two power boxes in the Lantern Hill development on Saturday, June 25.

The graffiti was written in white marker.

Theft

A tip jar containing about $300 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the area of W. Oakland Avenue and S. Clinton Street.

The theft occurred sometime between 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24 and 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25.

Disorderly Conduct

Daniel Eisemann, 24, Graeme Way, Hartsville, was cited on Sunday, June 26 at about 2:05 a.m. after an officer observed him urinating in an alley off S. Main Street.

Driving Under the Influence

Derick Shoff, 21, Galway Circle, Chalfont, was arrested on Sunday, June 26 at about 2:48 a.m. after he was observed driving his vehicle in a careless manner and screaming out the vehicle’s window while driving on W. Court Street in the area of Lafayette Street.

During the traffic stop, Shoff was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Shoff was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Assault

Charges have been filed against Beth Gallagher, 38, Main Street, Doylestown, after she allegedly threatened a friend with a knife while in her residence.

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 26 at about 5:35 a.m.

The victim was not injured.

Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle

Charges have been filed against Peter Harkins, Horrocks Street, Philadelphia, after he allegedly took a friend’s vehicle without his consent on Sunday, June 26, sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

The vehicle had been parked on the tens block of W. Ashland Street.

Theft

A resident of Pearl Drive reported that someone siphoned gasoline from his vehicle, which was parked on Sandy Ridge Drive on Saturday, June 25.

An estimated 16 gallons of gasoline valued at about $60 was removed from the vehicle during the overnight hours.

Theft

An employee of the reported that someone removed his smart phone from the bar area on Sunday, June 26 between 9:45 p.m. and closing.

The phone is valued at approximately $200.

Criminal Mischief

Graffiti was spray-painted on the Ashland Street wall of the property during the overnight hours of Tuesday, June 28 into Wednesday, June 29.

Graffiti was written in white and black spray paint.

Criminal Mischief

A representative from reported that two juveniles accessed the roof of the building on Tuesday, June 28 at about 11:00 p.m.

The juveniles allegedly balanced items over entrance doors, damaged a piece of metal flashing, and left tar footprints and handprints throughout the area.

Theft

Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a residence on Belmont Square during June.

The items include a men’s gold ring with black onyx stone, a tri-colored gold necklace, a gold wedding band, and a gold ring. The jewelry is valued at about $500.

There were no signs of forced entry into the home.

Trespassing

A 16-year old female was cited on Wednesday, June 29 at about 9:16 p.m. after she allegedly returned to after having been previously warned by business representatives that she was not permitted on the property.
