Assault

Charges have been filed against a 17-year old male student at after he allegedly punched and kicked another student following a verbal altercation.

The 16-year old male victim was cited for disorderly conduct for his participation in verbal altercation.

Ordinance Violation

A 15-year old female and two 16-year old females, all of Doylestown, were cited on Friday, May 13 at approximately 8:10 PM for violation of the public parking lot ordinance.

All females had been previously warned.

Criminal Mischief

A resident on the 100 block of W. Oakland Avenue reported that someone damaged a newly planted tree and kicked over a sign on her front lawn sometime during the overnight hours of Friday, May 13 into Saturday, May 14.

No estimate for the damage has been reported.

Driving Under the Influence

Adam Barci, 26, Kathryn Road, Chalfont, was arrested on Sunday, May 15 at approximately 12:50 AM after he was observed staggering and entering a vehicle on Franklin Street in the area of Oakland Avenue.

During the traffic stop, Barci was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Barci was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Public Drunkenness

Brendyn Burk, 26, Curly Mill Road, Chalfont, was cited on Sunday, May 15 at approximately 12:52 AM after he allegedly fell and cut his hand on Oakland Avenue in the area of Franklin Street.

Burk was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Driving Under the Influence

Heather Fertig, 23, Buckboard Circle, Warrington, was arrested on Sunday, May 15 at approximately 2:59 AM after she was observed driving her vehicle the wrong way on E Oakland Avenue, a one-way street.

During the traffic stop, Fertig was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Fertig was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Criminal Mischief

Numerous areas of graffiti were observed on Doylestown Marketplace’s air-conditioning units, ventilation ducts, junction boxes, doors, brickwork, and roof on Sunday, May 15 at approximately 7:45 PM.

Graffiti consisted of the letters “BSC” and “ASK” in black, red, white, and green spray-paint.

Criminal Mischief

A brick was thrown at the windshield of a vehicle parked on the tens block of S Hamilton Street sometime between 11:00 PM on Monday, May 16 and 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 17.

Two juvenile males were observed writing graffiti on the rear wall of a building on the 200 block of Decatur Street on Monday, May 16 at approximately 5:45 PM.

The graffiti consisted of the letters “CO” and a set of three squares drawn in either charcoal or crayon.

The juveniles fled the area.

Criminal Mischief

Officers are investigating the report of obscenities being scratched into a US Postal Service drop mailbox on Spruce Street in the area of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

The damage was reported on Tuesday, May 17 at approximately 4:22 PM.

Criminal Mischief

A swastika and the words “girl power” were written in pink paint on a wall in the rear stairwell of the Main Street Marketplace.

The graffiti was discovered on Wednesday, May 18 at approximately 1:35 PM.
