Doylestown Borough Police Log

Lots of drinking and driving arrests this past week.

Driving Under the Influence

Brendan Gallagher, 20, Rinker Circle, Doylestown, was arrested May 5 at approximately 7:44 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving was involved in an accident on West Court Street near Dommel Way.

During the accident investigation, Gallagher was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Gallagher was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Public Drunkenness

Kurt Dupuis, 40, Bradley Road, Chalfont, was cited May 6 at approximately 9:36 p.m. after he allegedly fell on Main Street near State Street.

Disorderly Conduct

A 15-year-old Doylestown girl and a 16-year-old Chalfont girl were cited May 6 at approximately 10:06 p.m. after they allegedly engaged in a physical altercation in the area of State and Main streets.

Driving Under the Influence

Linda Mann, 67, State Street, Doylestown, was arrested May 7 at approximately 1:37 a.m. after her vehicle was observed straddling the yellow lines as she traveled on North Main Street near Union Street.

During the traffic stop, Mann was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Mann was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.


Criminal Mischief

Two planters in front of Saxby’s Coffee, Main Street, were knocked over May 7 at approximately 2:31 a.m.

There was no estimate for the damage.

Public Drunkenness

Brittney Sirkis, 23, Main Street, Doylestown, was cited May 7 at approximately 3:28 a.m. after she was observed stumbling at the rear of a North Main Street restaurant.

Theft

A contractor working on a building on the tens block of West Oakland Avenue reported that someone removed his advertising sign from the front of the property sometime overnight between May 6 and May 7.

The sign is valued at approximately $40.

Liquor Law

Chester Errico, 19, Sergeantsville Road, Stockton, NJ, was cited May 7 at approximately 11:03 p.m. after he allegedly presented a fake identification to gain access to a South Main Street bar.

Assault

Officers are investigating the report of an assault that occurred at a West Ashland Street bar May 8 at approximately 12:52 a.m.

The victim reported that he was struck in the mouth following a verbal altercation.

The victim sustained a laceration to his upper lip. He was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Criminal Mischief

Gregory Guiteras, 21, Valley Park Road, Danboro, was arrested May 8 at approximately 3:54 a.m. after he allegedly damaged a mailbox and shattered a window on the front door of an East State Street law office.

A witness reported that Guiteras also was kicking and pounding on the door, screaming obscenities.

Guiteras was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $40,000 bail.

Driving Under the Influence

Travis Campbell, 36, Clinton Street, Doylestown, was arrested May 9 at approximately 2:30 a.m. after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Doyle Street and Harvey Avenue.

Campbell was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Campbell was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Criminal Mischief

The front window of an East State Street office building was broken sometime overnight between May 9 and May 10.

No estimate for the damage has been provided.

Criminal Mischief

Edward Flecker, 34, Fifth Street, Philadelphia, was arrested May 10 at approximately 12:30 p.m. after he allegedly kicked a door and walls at Domestic Relations.

The damage to the door is estimated at approximately $400.
