Public Drunkenness

Bruce Bell, 50, Griscomb Drive, Bensalem, was arrested on Friday, October 21 at approximately 12:29 p.m. after courthouse security reported an intoxicated male attempted to enter the .

A resident of Scott Road reported that someone removed a 6’ garden tie from her back yard.

The tie is valued at approximately $3.

The theft was reported on Friday, October 21.

Disorderly Conduct

Daniel Stout, 27, Main Street, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, October 22 at approximately 12:15 a.m. after he allegedly urinated on shrubbery at a West State Street apartment complex.

Robert Gable, 23, Palomino Drive, Warrington, was cited on Saturday, October 22 at approximately 1:28 a.m. after he was allegedly observed urinating in an alley off East State Street.

Driving Under the Influence

Rachel Moore, 22, Kent Drive, North Wales, was arrested on Saturday, October 22 at approximately 1:46 a.m. after she allegedly drove over a pedestrian crossing sign on South Main Street in the area of State Street.

During the traffic stop, Moore was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Moore was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.

Drug Violations

Brian Kahil, 21, Butler Avenue, Doylestown, was arrested on Saturday, October 22 at approximately 2:12 a.m. after he was found to possess a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana.

Kahil’s vehicle was stopped during an investigation of a fight at a N. Main Street bar. Kahil is also charged with driving under the influence.

Public Drunkenness

Frederick Hirth, 48, Mill Road, Hilltown, was cited on Sunday, October 23 at approximately 2:40 a.m. after he was observed staggering on East Oakland Avenue in the area of Pine Street.

Cynthia Bass, 44, Sterling Crest Court, Doylestown, was cited on Sunday, October 23 at approximately 3:00 a.m. after she was observed knocking on the window of an unoccupied vehicle parked in a lot off East State Street, trying to gain entry.

Theft

A resident of a South Main Street apartment complex reported that someone removed $1,200 and prescription medicine from her residence sometime between 7 p.m. on Monday, October 17 and 7 p.m. on Friday, October 21.

There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.

Theft

A resident of the 500 block of North Street reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and removed approximately $25 in change.

The theft occurred sometime during the overnight hours of Friday, October 21 into Saturday, October 22.

Theft

Nadiyah Ala, 34, Franklin Street, Philadelphia, was arrested on Monday, October 24 at approximately 4:37 p.m. for allegedly stealing approximately $50 from a money bag in a cab in which she was a passenger.

Ala was transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility on an outstanding warrant.

Theft

Charges have been filed against Jason Wartman, 24, Groveland Road, Pipersville, for allegedly removing a cellular phone from a S. Main Street business without attempting to pay for it.

The cell phone is described as a Blackberry Bold Touch and is valued at approximately $500.

The theft occurred on Tuesday, October 25 at approximately 3:05 p.m.

Theft

A resident of the 100 block of E. Oakland Avenue reported that someone removed four 80-lb. sand bags from the end of his driveway sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25.

Criminal Mischief

Officers are investigating the report of graffiti being written on the playground equipment and a rear door of over the October 22 weekend. 

Graffiti was written in black marker.

Driving Under the Influence

Ryan Adams, 38, Birchwood Drive, Doylestown, was arrested on Wednesday, October 26 at approximately 8:09 p.m. after he allegedly failed to stop for a posted stop sign at the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Doyle Street.

During the traffic stop, Adams was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which were marginal.

Adams was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.
