Two charged with growing pot in a house on Shewell Avenue.

Drug Violations

Cynthia Nuytens, 47, and Steven Weiner, 56, both of Shewell Avenue, were arrested on Tuesday, May 3 at about 4:50 p.m. after Bucks County sheriff's deputies reported that their residence contained numerous marijuana plants and equipment commonly used for growing marijuana.

The deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on Nuytens for an unrelated event when the discovery was made.

Cynthia Rees, 37, Hemlock Drive, Doylestown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found to possess a glass pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana during the same incident.

Daryl Lyons, 54, Middleton Street, Philadelphia, was arrested on Thursday, April 28 at about 8:38 a.m. after he allegedly attempted to remove two packages of deodorant from Rite Aid without attempting to pay for them.

The deodorant is valued at $12.96.

Lyons is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to possess a pipe commonly used for smoking crack cocaine.

A citation has been filed against Gary Transue, 19, Red Hill Road, Pipersville, for carrying a false identification card, which he allegedly attempted to use to gain entry to a S. Main Street bar on Friday, April 29 at approximately 12:10 a.m.

Citations have been filed against Samantha Felice, 20, Maurice Lane, Hatboro, for allegedly presenting a false identification in an attempt to gain entry at a S. Main Street bar on Saturday, April 30 at approximately 12:05 a.m.

Criminal Mischief

Officers are investigating the report of graffiti being drawn on a building on Donaldson Street on Saturday, April 30 at approximately 4:10 p.m.

Liquor Laws

Citations have been filed against Jillian Conti, 20, Laurel Circle, Newtown, after she allegedly attempted to use a false identification to gain entry to a S. Main Street bar.

The incident was reported on Sunday, May 1 at approximately 12:05 a.m.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked in the TD Bank lot on N. Main Street was keyed sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.

No estimate for the damage has been provided.

Driving Under the Influence

Megan Timm, 22, Coreys Sawmill Lane, Frenchtown, NJ, was arrested on Thursday, May 5 at approximately 1:35 a.m. after she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of W. Oakland Avenue and Hamilton Street, nearly causing an accident.

During the traffic stop, Timm was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Timm was transported to Doylestown Hospital for blood tests.
