Police are asking anyone who has seen this car to call them immediately.

Buckingham Township Police are asking for the public's help in locating a car that may have been involved in an attempted case of child luring.

Police said Friday afternoon that they are looking for a navy blue Mercedes Benz sedan, with "2009" written in yellow marker along the upper left side of the windshield.

A 12-year-old boy told police he got off his school bus at the intersection of Concord Road and Lexington Drive Friday after school. As he was walking, the navy blue Mercedes pulled up to him.

The boy told police a woman was driving the car, and a man was sitting in the back seat behind tinted windows.

The woman asked the boy to get in the car "to show them around," according to police.

When the child turned and walked the other way, the car reportedly turned around and the woman again asked the boy to get in the car.

After the second attempt, the boy told police he ran to a friend’s house and that the vehicle left the area.

Buckingham police responded to Concord Drive at 3:18 p.m.

The woman is described as a white female, about 45 years old, who spoke with a Russian accent.

Buckingham police sent information about the incident over police radio but the car has not been located.

Anyone seeing a vehicle matching this description should contact the police at 215-794-8811.
