Borough Home Burglarized This Week

Someone broke into a house and ransacked a bedroom in a quest to find something to steal.

Burglary

A home on Frosterly Drive was burglarized on Monday, December 12 sometime between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

A window pane on a rear door and a basement window were broken in an attempt to gain entry into the home.

The bedrooms were ransacked, and several pieces of jewelry were removed from the residence.

No estimate for the missing jewelry has been provided.

Theft

A resident of Forest Drive reported that someone removed several pieces of jewelry from an upstairs bedroom sometime between October 22 and December 10.

There were no signs of forced entry into the home.

The jewelry is valued at approximately $1,270.00.

 

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle parked in the Doylestown Shopping Center lot was keyed sometime between 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7 and 12:00 AM on Thursday, December 8. 

Deep scratches were observed on the driver’s side of the vehicle from the front fender to the rear fender.

Theft

Charges have been filed against Oliver Chapman, 33, Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, for allegedly removing a bottle of non-prescription eye drops from CVS without attempting to pay for the item.

The theft occurred on Thursday, December 8 at approximately 6:02 PM.

The eye drops are valued at $14.99.

Criminal Mischief

A representative from a S. Main Street accounting firm reported that someone wrote graffiti in gold paint on the business sign.

The incident was reported on Friday, December 9.

Driving Under the Influence

Jessica Kimberly, 45, Court Street, Doylestown, was arrested on Friday, December 9 at approximately 6:44 PM after she was observed turning her vehicle in front of an oncoming car at the intersection of N. Main Street and Veterans Lane, nearly causing a collision.

During the traffic stop, Kimberly was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Kimberly was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood.

Disorderly Conduct

Michael Markey, 32, Union Street, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, December 10 at approximately 3:27 AM after he was allegedly observed urinating in front of a business on the tens block of E. Oakland Avenue.

Theft

A representative from Harris Pharmacy reported that a male reached over the business counter and stole at least two lottery tickets valued at $20 each.

The incident occurred on Saturday, December 10 at approximately 11:40 AM.

The male is described as being approximately 60-70 years old, gray hair, last seen wearing a leather jacket and riding a bicycle on East Street. 

Criminal Mischief

Two vehicles parked at the rear of a property on the 400 block of Belmont Avenue had their driver’s side mirrors broken sometime between 11:30 PM on Friday, December 9 and 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10.

Disorderly Conduct

Antonio Vasquez, 30, Schoolhouse Lane, Quakertown, was cited on Tuesday, December 13 at approximately 3:06 PM after he allegedly created a disturbance at Domestic Relations.
