Driving Under the Influence

Renee Phillips, 50, Atkinson Drive, Doylestown, was arrested on Wednesday, May 23 at approximately 3:39 PM after officers received the report of an intoxicated female driving in the area of the Doylestown Shopping Center.

During the traffic stop, Phillips was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.

Phillips was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests.

Driving Under the Influence

Caroline Paulus, 22, Waterview Road, West Chester, was arrested on Thursday, May 24 at approximately 3:15 AM after officers received the report of a female breaking into a vehicle on the 100 block of S. Main Street.

Paulus, who exhibited signs of intoxication, was observed sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with the engine running. She reported that she broke the window because she had locked her keys in the vehicle.

Paulus was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed. She was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood.

Theft

A 16-year old student at reported that someone removed $40 from his wallet during class on Thursday, May 24.

The wallet was stored in the student’s backpack, which was placed on the floor near his desk.

Theft

A resident of Valley House Condos C building reported that someone stole a package from the front foyer sometime around May 9 or 10.

The package contained various clothing items valued at approximately $200.

Liquor Laws

Citations have been filed against Kelsey Bauer, 20, Mulberry Lane, Warrington, after she allegedly presented a fake drivers license at in an effort to purchase alcohol.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 23.

Citations have been filed against Courtney Bradley, 20, Turk Road, Doylestown, after she allegedly presented a fake drivers license at Stephanie’s in an effort to gain access to the bar.

The incident occurred on Thursday, May 24 at approximately 11:00 PM.

Public Drunkenness

David Kelley, 22, Springs Drive, Doylestown, was cited on Saturday, May 26 at approximately 6:16 a.m. after a resident of Golfview Road reported a suspicious male sitting on a wall in his rear yard.

Kelley was also cited for disorderly conduct.

Marcos Carrasco, 26, Reeder Road, New Hope, was arrested on Saturday, May 26 at approximately 4:07 PM after he was stopped for driving his vehicle with malfunctioning brake lights.

During the traffic stop, Carrasco was noted to exhibit signs of intoxication. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Carrasco was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood tests, which he refused.

Criminal Mischief

Burn marks were discovered on the tunnel and covered slide at Wood Street Park on Sunday, May 27 at approximately 2:34 PM.

Graffiti was also observed throughout the park.

Theft

A resident of the 800 block of N. Chubb Drive reported that someone entered an unsecured garage and removed a bicycle and several tools, including drill bits, a chainsaw, a portable tool kit, and a framing nail gun.

The incident occurred sometime between 11:00 PM on Sunday, May 27 and 8:55 AM on Monday, May 28.

The missing items are valued at approximately $1,655.

Theft

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the student lot at Central Bucks High School West on Tuesday, May 29 sometime between 7:15 AM and 9:09 AM

The purse was recovered in the parking lot, but $10 had been removed from a wallet inside.
