Be On the Lookout for a Smelly Guy?

A man tried to steal more than $150 worth of grooming products from the CVS in Doylestown, according to police reports.

 

Maybe he had a hot date.

He was dressed in black pants, a white shirt and a lightweight black jacket. But apparently he was desperate for a shave and a more pleasant aroma.

The unknown man recently tried to steal more than $150 worth of grooming products from the CVS store in Doylestown, Borough Police said Thursday.

According to police reports, a representative from CVS reported that the man tried to make off with the goods on Aug. 31 at about 7:52 p.m.

The store employee told police the man fled from carrying an electric razor, a bottle of cologne, and a can of body spray. The police report said the items are valued at $151.47.

A suspicious employee followed the man out of the store, and the fleeing man reportedly dropped the products in his haste, according to the report.

The man is described as being about in his 30s, and 6 feet tall, with black hair thinning in the front. He was last seen wearing a lightweight black jacket, black pants, and a white shirt, the report said.
