Bar Fight, Public Intoxication Keep Borough Police Busy Last Weekend

Doylestown Borough Police reported six alcohol and drug related incidents between Friday night and Sunday morning.

Doylestown Borough Police were busy last weekend. Police reported six alcohol and drug related incidents that occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning.

Here are the details:

  • Kyle Lee, 18, of Doylestown, was cited on Friday, Nov. 8 at approximately 9 p.m. after officers received a complaint of an intoxicated male at War Memorial Field. Lee was also charged with public drunkenness.
  • Aaron Slimm, 26, of Perkasie, was arrested on Saturday at approximately 1 a.m. after he allegedly exposed a knife in a threatening manner to two employees of a S. Main Street bar after they asked him to leave. No one was injured during the incident.  Slimm is also charged with weapons violations, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
  • Jonathan Hazlett, 24, of Jamison, was arrested on Saturday at approximately 1 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving was stopped as part of an investigation regarding an alleged assault at a S. Main Street bar. During the investigation, Hazlett exhibited signs of intoxication, police said. He was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. Hazlett was transported to Doylestown Hospital for legal blood.
  • Michael Fiore, 19, of Doylestown, and Elliot Fuchs, 20, of Doylestown, were arrested on Saturday at approximately 9 p.m. after they were found in possession of a metal grinder and a small amount of suspected marijuana. The arrest occurred after officers were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked at the rear of the Bucks County Free Library.
  • Matthew Sheppleman, 28, of Buckingham, was cited on Sunday at approximately 12:15 a.m. after he allegedly kept trying to re-enter a S. Main Street bar after being escorted out by personnel.
  • Kevin Plewinski, 33, Doylestown, was cited on Sunday at approximately 4:10 a.m. after he was sleeping on the sidewalk on the double-digit block of N. Main Street.
