Armed Robbery Reported at Game Stop

Police say the suspect displayed a black handgun and told an employee "be quiet, just hand me the money quickly. Hurry up, I'll blast you."

Doylestown Township police still are searching for a suspect they say robbed the GameStop store in the Doylestown Pointe Plaza shopping center Monday afternoon.

The suspect was described as "a white male approximately 5’10” to 6’0” tall, wearing a gray or white hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and wearing a dark colored scarf around his mouth and nose area," according to Doylestown Township police.

Police said the suspect entered with the hood up and scarf on. He went to the counter and handed an employee a white plastic bag. The suspect then showed a black hand gun and told the employee "be quiet, just hand me the money quickly.  Hurry up, I’ll blast you."

The employee complied and the suspect grabbed the bag, leaving the store toward Almshouse Road. The employee called 9-1-1 and went outside, observing the suspect running towards Eagle Lane.

The employee said they saw the suspect drop, then pick up the gun while running down Eagle Lane.

A K9 unit from Warminster Township checked the area but could not locate the suspect, police said.
