Active Shooter Drill to Be Held Saturday in Doylestown

Police, fire and emergency medical personnel will be participating in the drill, which will be held at the Bucks County Courthouse/Administration Building from 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.

An active shooter drill in Doylestown this Saturday will close portions of East Court and Broad streets.

Police, fire and emergency medical personnel will be participating in the drill, which will be held at the Bucks County Courthouse/Administration Building from 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.

As part of the drill, fire police officers will be stationed at the intersections of E Court Street with Church and Main Streets, as well as at the intersections of Broad Street with Main Street and Garden Alley.

E Court and Broad will be closed to traffic between these intersections between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. 

Motorists are advised to avoid the area during this time, the county said in an announcement.
