We at Network of Victim Assistance were both impressed and thrilled with the recent passage of the child protection bills and the work of so many Bucks County lawmakers who helped make this happen.
This legislation is a great step forward in protecting some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.
NOVA professionals were honored to have had the opportunity to provide testimony to the Child Protection Task Force headed by Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler, which undertook a comprehensive examination of current practices and developed the initial recommendations for action.
We look forward to seeing the remaining work completed and the changes implemented so that every child has the opportunity to be safe from violence in their lives.
