Virginia B. Graff, 93, Doylestown Hospital Volunteer

Services for Virginia Graff are Monday at 11 a.m. at the Shelly Funeral Home in Warrington.

Virginia B. Graff of Jamison passed away suddenly at the age of 93 on Tuesday, November 19, at Doylestown Hospital. Virginia was the loving wife for 67 years of Anton Graff, Jr. Surviving their mother is a son, Robert A Graff and his wife, Marilyn, of Hanover, MA, and a daughter, Barbara G. Oliver, and her husband, Jon, of Lansdale, PA. Virginia had four grandsons, Chris and Mike Graff, and Eric and Jeff McDonald and two great-grandchildren, Race and Bryn Graff.

Virginia was born in Philadelphia February 20, 1920, the eldest daughter of George G. and Clara (Morrell) Brooke, and she had two sisters who pre-deceased her, Shirley B. Jones of Springfield, Virginia, and Marion B. Stauffer of Lewes, DE.

Virginia grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Germantown High School. She moved to Warrington in 1952 and lived there until moving to Jamison in 2005. She was always an avid swimmer, and she continued her love of athletics and fitness, including Tai Chi, chair yoga, and water volleyball until her final days.

Virginia was active in parent-teacher projects, was a Grey Lady volunteer at the original Doylestown Hospital, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Virginia’s funeral service 11:00 am Monday, November 25 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Eason Rd., Warrington, PA 18976, where the family will be receive friends during Virginia’s viewing from 10 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in the Neshaminy Cemetery, Hartsville.
