Mary Louise (Gloman) Lawrence was born March 11, 1927, the youngest of four girls born to Laverne Phillips and John B.H. Gloman of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Weezie to her family and friends, she attended Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA and graduated with a BA in Biology, Class of 49. She married her sweetheart, G. Fred Lawrence of Ashley, Pa. and they moved to Cincinnati, OH where Fred undertook studies in engineering and Weezie worked to support them in a biology laboratory on the development of a polio vaccine.

Two much-adored children came along in 1953 (Karen) and 1955 (Freddy), and the family moved to Jamison, PA. Weezie devoted herself to family life, handling the books for her husbands engineering design company, and serving as deacon for many years at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church.

Moving in retirement to Heritage Towers in Doylestown (now Wesley Enhanced Living), she delighted in joining Singing Seniors, tai-chi classes, making cinnamon buns at the Senior Center, and attending continuing learning in retirement classes at Del Val College in poetry, Dickens, and chemical biology. Most of all she enjoyed the companionship of her sister, Carolyn, and wonderful friends, especially Flossie, Helen, Arline, Eileen, and Mary Anne who have cherished and cared for her.
