Denise Anne Evans, 56, Enjoyed Traveling

Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Doylestown on Thursday.

Denise Anne Evans of Buckingham passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 19, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was 56 years old.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Henry and Bernice Bergin Baier, Denise resided in Roslyn and lived in Germany and areas of the United States with her family while her husband served in the US Army, before moving to Buckingham Twp in 2001.

Denise was recently employed as a transcriptionist with Doylestown Hospital for several years before her illness. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, animals and most recently traveling with her husband Greg to areas around the world.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gregory S. Evans, devoted mother of Lauren E. Evans, PV2 Jonathan C. Evans, and Kelsey M. Evans, dear sister of Henry Baier and wife Martha, James Baier and wife Linda, and Thomas Baier, loving aunt of Adam, Amanda, Karen, Allie and Zach Baier.

Visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6-8 pm.

A service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, October 24th at 11 am. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service

Interment will follow in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
